I can only pass on the hp and tq numbers I was told. Hey those numbers arent bad, If they're true. yeah I talk to guys at bully dog and while i was on the phone he asked the tech and the tech said the increase for the z was 6% in hp and in torque it was 9- 10% increase at wheels. I wont be able to until next payday, 2 wks. I got my z impounded on sat night and a few tickets and that set be back a lot. I wanted to take it to do some dyno pulls this Wednesday but im not going to be able to. Also I dont know how accurate or reliable those number are. The timing was all over the place I dont know anything about timing. With the performance tune installed according to the tuner which its getting its info from the ecm through the OBD connection under WOT it read between 11.9-12.1 in the afr. I can also mess with the afr but I didnt. In a blink of an eye its already at 2300-2500 rpm. The only thing I kinda dont like is under normal driving ( crusing) I need to through the gears alot quicker since it revs twice as fast. It plugs into the speedometer cluster and allows you to correct for larger tires all the way up to 54' tall Works on 2018+ JL Wranglers and 2020+ Gladiators. I put mine on extreme and it got rid of ALL the pedal lag Im relearning to drive the car by how much gas to give it in every gear change. Our Inline Speedometer Calibrator (PN 730133) is a simple plug-and-play solution to correct the speedometer in your Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator. The pedal can be adjusted to normal, economy, performance, or extreme. Updateable products include Max Energy 2.0, Max Energy, Speedometer Calibrator, Interceptor, and Inline Speedometer Calibrator (device configuration only). From my personal experience the car pulls significantly harder specially from 2nd gear on up. Hypertech Internet Update Software How to Update your Power Programmer Most Hypertech products are easily updated over the internet using Hypertech’s internet update software for Windows. I finally got the bully dog tuner installed yesterday. I'm heading out to the drag strip for the first time this weekend (if it doesn't rain) and I'm hoping for low 13's as well with a stock 7AT. M4a1mustang on the forum also has the 5.0 Mustang and I believe he ran 12's at the track. But the car is way better than that according to specs. I cant vouche for his driving or how hard is to put the power down on a that car. For example two weeks ago a buddy took his 2011 stang 5.0 to the track and pulled a couple 15's, 1- 14, and the 13.6 was his fastest. I know how to drive decent, but Im no professional by any means. Ive seen some claims on the internet that the Z is good for 13.7 and some as fast as 13.3. I called and they told me I had to wait till next wednesday for the new update. I did everything step by step but it still didnt work it gave me an error code and told me to update or call bully. Also, Hypertech is based out of Tennessee, so you get to support a tuner here in the United States, always a plus.I got it yesterday, I got one of the guys to overnight it for free. Simple to program, easy to return to stock programming for California smog, and well priced for the performance and support you get. As long as you are patient, expect the unit to be updated, and allow the professionals at Hypertech to help you, I cannot recommend this unit enough. Noticeably more torque down low and much quicker throttle response. I called Hypertech and spoke with a gentleman who quickly got the word to the programmer that my vehicle wasn't in their calibration files and, while the instructions say to allow for one to three days turn around time in a case like mine, I got an email within 15 minutes of getting off the phone with them stating that my unit was ready for update. The PDF instructions are out of date, but if you know anything about computers, it is easy enough to translate from old to new language. My particular vehicle hadn't been calibrated for, I guess no one is trying to gain power from their 2008 Focus, so I needed to update the Max Energy unit with the provided USB cable. The package comes with everything you need other than the Windows computer.
